In January 2026, Sud Solar System inaugurated the Bani solar power plant, in partnership with local authorities and with the support of international organizations. This 10.4 kWp installation now provides more than 200 homes with clean, continuous energy.
An ambitious pilot project
Bani is one of the first 2.0 prototypes designed to adapt to the constraints of the Sahelian climate: high temperatures, dust, and difficult access. The system integrates high-efficiency panels, lithium batteries, and a real-time monitoring system.
Impact for the community
Beyond the figures, the inauguration of Bani is much more than just a solar system: it is the beginning of a virtuous cycle. The school reopens in the evenings, the clinic operates continuously, and small businesses become more competitive.
